Pet's Own Place Dog Park

Pet's Own Place Dog Park is a fenced dog park with two separate sections for small and large dogs. There is also a waste bag dispenser, trash receptacle and a water spigot. Parking is available off of Seventh Avenue.
The Oklawaha Greenway Trail
The Greenway is open from dawn to dusk year round. The trail is 3.25 miles connecting Jackson Park, Patton Park, Berkly Park, Sullivan Park and William H. King Memorial Park. The trail is fully paved and fairly flat and is handicap accessible. The Oklawaha Greenway is accessible from seven adjacent parking area.
The Oklawaha Greenway Trail is a 10-foot-wide asphalt path with mileage signs at every quarter of a mile to let the users know how far they have traveled. These low posts show the distance to each park, with the distance from each park on the opposite side. Informational Signs have been placed along the Greenway where appropriate. Benches and water fountains are available along the trail. There are stations with air pumps and common tools for simple bike repairs at the trailhead parking lot on Balfour Road, the intersection between the Greenway and North Main Street, and near the trailhead in Jackson Park. The trail is excellent for both cyclists and pedestrians.

The Park at Flat Rock consists of 66 acres of flat and open green space. It is a new park and is still in the development stage in some areas.
Here are some general rules so that all may enjoy the Park:
- It is a tobacco free park
- Dogs must be on a leash at all times
- Only authorized motor vehicles permitted beyond parking lot
- Skates, roller blades and skateboards are not permitted
- Alcoholic beverages are not permitted
- Portable charcoal grills and open fires are not permitted
Amenities have been developed or installed:
- Perimeter trail (three-quarters complete) The current loop of the completed perimeter trail totals approximately 1.4 miles of flat, all-season walkable surface that begins and ends at the parking lot.
